MISSION: Our mission is the "Great Commission"- work outside the confines of the church; reach the lost and the unchurched all over the world with the Good News of salvation. Our ultimate goal is to win souls and help people thrive in their relationships with God. We are to teach, disciple, and mentor Christians to mature and be able to impact their communities through exemplary Christian lifestyle. Matt 28:19-20.
HOW WE CARRY OUT OUR MISSION: The core of our mission and all we do is LOVE. CAYA has been given a mandate in Matt 28:19-20. The execution of this mandate has been clearly outlined in Isaiah 61:1-3. We have been called to focus on those who are physically and spiritually down-throden. While our target audience is the economically dejected class of our community, we avail ourselves to the affluent of our communities toon. Though rich, some of them are among the spiritually destitute. They need a savior like anyone else. That Savior is Jesus Christ! Unfortunately, many people who live in abject poverty are also living in spiritual bankrupcy. Whatever category someone may be, LOVE is our first approach of engagement.
WE REACH THE INDIGENTS AND THE HOMELESS THROUGH:
- BREAD AND PASTRIES are delivered to communities on weekends. In rotational basis we go to a determined community and deliver bags of bread and pastries door to door.
- GROCERIES are delivered to homes when people call for food.
- CHILDREN CLOSET is our outsource for children clothes, diapers, and baby foods.
- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE is a means by which we help people toward rent, gas, and other utility bills.
- BIBLE STUDY and counseling are ways through which we address people's spiritual and emotional needs. We also visit with the senior citizens, officiate over funerals, or simply visit families to comfort them in times of tragidies.
- YOUTHS are reached through Bible study, tutoring, and recreational activities.
- ADOPT A FAMILY is an initiative through which the entire family is ministered to as a whole, in a form of mentorship.
- TELEPHON'VENGALISM is a means of distant, but direction one-on-one evangelism with individuals when they call for financial assistance. Many people ask Christ into their lives through this process.
